Buying Groceries Once A Week Saves Gas And Money

Remember now we must kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Save money on groceries plus save on gas. If you plan your grocery trip carefully you will be able to save money because your only making one stop instead of three or maybe more throughout the week. And don't forget the coupons that you had cut out of the paper and had gotten online. Make sure you only take coupons for the items that your going to buy only. Or else you may end up with things you may not have need of. Also remembering that grocery stores don't really have big sales on produce. I you have a farmers market you can get some really fresh fruits and vegetables and at a reasonable price. So you could hit both places on one day and you would be set. It may take a few days to get in the hang of it and that is o.k. You should also take advantage of some of the generic items that are comparable to the ones you already buy, and you will be surprised at the quality of a lot of these items. And in this alone you will save a few dollars. I bought the generic brand of soda this week at 59 cents for a two liter bottle compared to 1.33 for a name brand , so I saved 1.48 on two bottles. Give it a try and see how much you can save.
